“Making Good Men Better”

Welcome To Deva Lodge

Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Service

These are our values…

At Deva Lodge, we are a group of Freemasons from every part of society. Based at Cheshire View in Christleton, just outside Chester, we meet regularly in fellowship, with the hope of helping others in need and having some fun in the process.

Freemasonry is one of the largest contributors to charitable causes in the country, with almost £1 million donated (nationally) per week1. Beyond monetary contributions, our members actively engage in volunteer work, making a significant positive impact in our community.

The Province of Cheshire is the oldest in the world and celebrates 300 years in 2025. Deva Lodge in our current form dates back 115 years in 2025, which is a long history of helping others.

We host various events for our members and their families throughout the year, and other Freemasons often join us from other lodges for special events, most notably our annual Burns Night event, which brings together fellow Masons from all over the country.

The Masters Charity 2025/26

Each year, the Master of Deva Lodge selects a charity to support, and this year WBro Graham Stevens has chosen the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

CALM is a UK charity focused on suicide prevention—the single biggest killer of men under 45 and a rising issue across all age groups. CALM offers free, confidential support and raises awareness to challenge stigma around mental health. Deva Lodge is proud to support this worthy cause. Learn more at thecalmzone.net.
